Kitchen

We have a fully stocked kitchen.

Pots and pans for cooking & we even have bakeware.

Coffee makers, a 12-cup pot and a Keurig for single serve. We have supplied a few pods and regular coffee for your convenience. We also have sweet N low and sugar on hand as well. Just a bit to get you started.

We supply spices for your cooking needs.

Dishwashing liquid as well as dish soap for the dishwasher

Trash bags and paper towels.

PLEASE DO NOT USE GARBAGE DISPOSAL. THERE IS BASKETS IN EACH DRAIN TO CATCH FOOD DEBRI

THERE IS EXTRA GARBAGE BAGS FOR YOUR USE AND A COFFEE CONTAINER TO DISPOSE OF YOUR COFFEE GROUNDS.

LEAVE THE COFFEE CONTAINER IN THE SINK WHEN LEAVING, WE WILL DISPOSE AND CLEAN

Laundry

We have a washer and dryer onsite.

We supply laundry detergent and bleach.

We have an iron and ironing board as well.

Living Room

We have what we hope you find to be comfortable seating! We have a 3-person couch 2 recliners one oversized ottoman, poofs and large floor pillows.

Large smart tv with Apps for amazon, Netflix, you tube, and you tube tv. There are also games to play in the red cabinet.

Bedrooms

Each bedroom has a king-size bed, TV, desk, chair, luggage rack and dresser located in the closet. The primary also contains a sitting area. The Bed has a charging station as well.

Bathroom

We have provided bath soap, shampoo, and cream rinse in both showers. We supply toilet paper (3) rolls per bath per 3 days stay. There are two sets of towels for each guest to use inside the property. We also have black makeup wash cloths. Additionally, there are a few towels for outside use.

NOT TO DO’S”

Our UTILIZES A SEPTIC SYSTEM FOR WASTE. A FEW “NOT TO DO’S” WILL HELP MAINTAIN OUR SEPTIC IN WORKING ORDER, AND KEEP COST DOWN.

BATHROOMS:

THERE ARE SMALL PLASTIC BAGS IN EACH BATHROOM FOR YOUR CONVIENCE TO DEPOSED OF SANITARY PRODUCTS LIKE TAMPONS AND SANITARY NAPKINS.

WE ENCOURAGE that all WIPES SHOULD BE SEPTIC APPROVE

Outdoor furniture and more

On the front porch there are 2 rocking chairs, ( 2 folding chairs on back covered deck that can be brought to front as well for more seating) please leave the other seats in back.

On the back deck there is a 2-person seat as well as 2 other chairs and 2 hanging swings. The hanging chairs have a 250lb limit.

There is a fire pit and nighttime lighting as well,

a charcoal grill and a bit of charcoal for your 1st cookout

(please make sure grill is out away from the house in the grilling area).

There is a camera located above the covered deck it only sees out into the woods the seating areas are private.

Smoking

Smoking is NOT allowed inside the home. You are free to smoke anywhere outside. Do however keep butts picked up please….

We have butt buckets around the outside for your convenience

Parking

There is plenty of onsite parking, with a turnaround as well. There is a camera in this area, it shows the parking area and drive only.

Miscellaneous

Cherokee Village has lots of amenities that you can use as our guest. The Golf course, pools, pickleball, put-put golf and more. You will need a pass, so let us know if you want to get on the lakes or use any of the other amenities.

Heating & Air Conditioning

Thermostat is in the hallway it will only go as low as 65 and as high as 80. We have floor fans as well if you need one.

We have a gas fireplace for winter and fall use only please do not turn on in the summer

Trash / Recycling

Please use the green can to side of house for Trash. Trash pickup is on Monday and the property manager will come by on Sunday evening to take trashcan to the street.

Security & Doors

Please make sure. When you leave the windows and doors are closed and locked when you leave the home. You were given a code for the keypad this code is just yours. Please lock and unlock the front door with this code. To unlock you just enter the code to lock enter code and then the Kwikset button.

Our little scavenger hunt for 10% off next visit

We have a lot of Faries in the area, they seem to really like our yard and home. A couple of them have snuck inside and have decided to stay indoors instead of outside. They love to hide when guests arrive, but they never hide in the bathrooms or bedrooms or anywhere that you would have to move or try to force open. They are respectful lol… so if you see them let us know, you will receive a 10% discount on your next stay.

Just a hint they do like to hide in the shadows

Please make sure all trash is out of the home.

If you’re able, please pull the bed sheets and place them on the bed. Dirty towels- place in shower

If you have any dirty dishes, if you could please rinse and load the dishwasher we would appreciate it!!
